Boxed In

Now to post up really old works I was able to retrieve from a couple of people.

This was a collage we had to do in my Art class. The picture was composed of 24 boxes and each one had to be painted separately. Quite frankly, I really enjoyed this project cause it dealt with painting and painting's something I don't get to do very often. >_< It's so fun cause you can tell where the boxes are.

The angel in the front is a figure I actually made out of plaster in one of my Art Summer Classes. I gave her away to Bill or Ben... I think it was Bill, a doctor who was a great benefactor to the Art Studio. He was awesome. I cut out a photograph of this angel and made it the foreground with a strip of wet photograph at the top, scratched up.

The second ground was a face from a magazine... I thought she had a pretty face and I wanted to capture it ^_^ Doing her mouth(especially), nose, and skin was the hardest part of this project. Seriously... Creases are no fun...

The last part to he back ground was picked at random, probable because I liked the design of the waves and moon.
