Sorceror at Hand

I submitted this into the Saboten Con's panel of "Manga Showdown". But It didn't win... I didn't get to see the other submissions but from what Foxy Lady said. It should have been Yami and I. Oh well... Too bad...

We came in while there was a third of the time left over. So we had ten minutes to twenty minutes tops to draw some sort of Magic user. Both Yami and I did works that were original. sanzo and someone else who drew a magicain band won. I was sad. But I guess I expected too much. Now if I got to see their art and whatnot I don't think I would feel so joshed...

I darkened this version over Photoshop because the lot was in pencil and I draw too lightly with pencil. The little fairy on the right hand side is Foxy Lady cause she joked about wanting to be in it but I added her in anyway for teh hell of it. ^_^ The LIllies are definitely there to cover white space cause I dont' like plain work. The staff has an ulgy design but oh well. It was ten minutes and rush. I was having so much trouble trying to make sure he wasn't a cliche of teh average everyday magician.
